- 3D Printing Directly from PET Plastic Bottles

 

I dedicated several months to this endeavor. One of my goals was to use off the shelf parts that were easy to source online. Regrettably during the testing phase, the prototype was accidentally damaged.

 

Initially, the design featured an extruder screw with the intention of directly using PET strips within the nozzle of an extruder head.

However, it is currently undergoing a redesign with the aim of potentially enabling direct shred extrusion.
